Back Again

I haven't posted anything for a while due to a busy schedule. I've been to a lot of stuff, basically self studying anything about motion. Lately studying a 3d package called Cinema 4d, by a company called Maxon. After playing with different 3d package, I've decided to stick on Cinema 4d, mainly for the ease of use. It's user friendly and the learning curve is not steep at all.

Typograph Pro

Alexander at Amateurmedia.net just released a new typeface called Typograph Pro. It uses basic shape, as mentioned that idea is to make the font more like of a graphic shape than a type. Typograph Pro is available in 7 styles. I find it good looking and really integrates with graphic design. It features clean and geometric shapes and is set mainly in the CAPS.

Iron Baby

Patrick Boivin, together with VFX artist Jocelyn Simard created this awesome video "Iron Baby". The baby on this video is Margaret, which is Patrick's daughter.


This was done using 3ds Max and Vray for rendering. Jocelyn did all the texture, 3d modeling and animation.

They say 64 bit operating system is the future. Having a 64 bit OS allows you to access more RAM on your computer, compared to 32 bit that can only access up to 3GB of RAM. So if you have more than 3 GB's of RAM and is using a 32 bit OS, you cannot access the rest of the memory.
