Recent Work

2/24/11
My Recent Work includes a video bumper. I made this on Cinema 4d using "pblurp" to create the morphing effect.

Then did the rest of the works in After Effects, where I added lens flares, particles(I use trapcode), and the rest of the graphic elements and effects. It took me around 120 hours to finish this 9 second video.

HDRI Studio Pack by Greyscale Gorilla

1/16/11
Nick Campbell of Greyscalegorilla has just launched his new product called HDRI Studio Pack for Cinema 4d. Recently I just got my hands on this product, I can say that this is a time saver.

This product employs the use of Global Illumination (which is a render hog, I would say) in Cinema 4D.

1/12/11
As always, Andrew Kramer from Video Copilot never fails to exceed the expectations of many, from his awesome tutorials and product lines.

After the successful release of Optical Flares and it's Pro Presets, comes Pro Preset 2 for Optical Flares.

Cinema 4D Camera Rig Tutorial

1/7/11
Why Camera rig, when you can just animate the camera itself?

Using a Camera Rig gives you more control and dynamic movement on the camera animation, not to mention its ease of use.

Here's how to do it:

1.CREATING NULLS.
Create a Null and name it Camera Controller. With the Camera Controller (Null) selected, hold SHIFT key and add 3 more nulls. You should have the nulls arranged as seen in the picture below.

Next thing to do is to name the nulls accordingly (just to be organized). Name the second null as HEADING, the next one PITCH and the last one BANK.

Back Again

11/3/10
I haven't posted anything for a while due to a busy schedule. I've been to a lot of stuff, basically self studying anything about motion. Lately studying a 3d package called Cinema 4d, by a company called Maxon. After playing with different 3d package, I've decided to stick on Cinema 4d, mainly for the ease of use. It's user friendly and the learning curve is not steep at all.

Typograph Pro

7/13/10
Alexander at Amateurmedia.net just released a new typeface called Typograph Pro. It uses basic shape, as mentioned that idea is to make the font more like of a graphic shape than a type. Typograph Pro is available in 7 styles. I find it good looking and really integrates with graphic design. It features clean and geometric shapes and is set mainly in the CAPS.
